I am a flute, piano, recorder and music theory tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience. I also offer lessons in aural training and sight reading to aid exam preparation.
I am a qualified classroom teacher with a P.G.C.E. and a music graduate from Sheffield University. I am also Mum to two grown up children, both of whom play different musical instruments.
Based in Fulwood, Sheffield (on the 120 bus route), I teach face to face music lessons from my home. I also teach lessons online. My pupils range from the very young to the not so young, those keen to do exams or those who want to learn for fun. I love my job and the variety of people I get to work with.
I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate, plus insurance and I’m happy to show you the relevant documentation.

Flute classes are offered by Sheffield Music Academy.We provides specialist 1:1 instrumental tuition of 30, 45 or 60 minutes from a team of passionate and exceptional tutors who travel across the country each week to work with our students.
Our 1-2-1 flute lessons for players aged 8+, are tailored to the needs of each individual student and include a wide range of activities. Beginners welcome!?

Individual instrumental lessons in piano, flute and clarinet can be arranged through the school.
