Food Photography Course

The Food Photography Course is to prepare participants that enrol in the course to acquire competence in the production of well composed and thought-out images using digital cameras for the production of high-quality Food Photography.

Food presented on the table is often visually pleasing and smelling great, which entices our taste buds, however more often than not pictures do not do justice to these served dishes. This calls in to question photographic skills needed to capture such dishes whether it is cooks showing off their dishes to family and friends, on social media, professional culinary artists and chefs posting to promote their brand and/or restaurants of ordinary people out for lunch wishing to share their lifestyle experience with their following.

The Market Photo Workshop, a dynamic and well-established photography training hub, in collaboration with Prue Leith Culinary Institute, which has positioned itself as a leading culinary institution are joining hands to present this course by bringing together the complimentary fields of food and photography. The course is offered to the general public interested in food and photography, cooks, professional chefs and influences earning a living from food photography related work.
