  • Spelling: common difficulties
  • Simple agreement of nouns, pronouns and adjectives
  • Verbs
  • simple verb-subject agreements
  • infinitive/past participle distinction
  • conjugation
  • past participle agreement: without auxiliary, with être, with avoir
  • Punctuation: review of the basic rules
  • Use of capital letters: basic rules, Canadian usage
  • Homophones: knowing how to distinguish them, common difficulties
  • Anglicisms: calques, false friends and other intruders
