Course Outline
These units cover wheeled front end loader operations in either the civil construction or mining industries. It includes planning and preparing, conducting machine pre-operational checks, operating the machine, lifting, carrying and placing materials, selecting, removing and fitting attachments, relocating the machine, carrying out machine operator maintenance and cleaning up.

The formal and practical training is all done on site at Affordable Industry Training, where our accredited and experienced trainer/assessors will take you through all theory, practical and assessment components.
All training materials will be provided. The theory work will include watching some safety clips, industry PowerPoint presentations and other materials.
After theory training, you’ll be issued a training plan covering all the tasks and elements you have to learn in practical training.
For the practical training, our training site is fully work-simulated and designed to resemble the modern worksite as much as possible, which ensures that you learn the necessary skills in the best possible environment.
Then when training is completed you will move on to the assessments (theory and practical). Once these are successfully completed you will be deemed competent in all areas.
We also offer VOC (verification of competency) and RPL (recognition of prior learning) courses for this unit.

Here at Affordable Industry Training we have a work simulated confined area in which we will require you to understand several tasks in relation to this training course. This course will teach you how to identify hazards and how to work safely in tight and confined spaces. All Training Materials, Resources and Safety Equipment supplied.
This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate a Front-End Loader and work in a range of different working environments.
This unit covers competence associated with the operation and maintenance of breathing apparatus equipment in an irrespirable atmosphere. This competency applies to operators who are required to wear breathing apparatus for part of their job - because they are working in a confined space
The Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) component teaches participants how to rescue a person that has been using low voltage equipment through the use of a Low Voltage Rescue Kit. Low voltage is defined as less than 1000Vac.
Fire Safety Adviser QLD course is offered by Flashpoint Fire and Safety.
The course is aimed at all workers carrying out construction work, including: self-employed persons, labourers, apprentices, trades-persons, supervisors and project managers.
