Join us to make, bake and assemble your own family gingerbread house. Two fun and challenging workshops to create your own masterpiece.
What Happens in This Course
In session 1, we will make gingerbread dough, roll, cut and bake it to make the individual parts of the house. We will also make some trees and gingerbread people. If time allows, you will have a practice icing designs, ready for the second session. Session 2 is where the building begins.
First we will mix your icing to decorate each piece, then make your 'glue' and this is where the fun really starts. Once your house is constructed there is always an element of competition to produce the 'show stopper'.
The cost for the two classes is £45. These sessions are 'family friendly' and up to 3 people can work on one house (or you can make one each). to 2 additional people can work with you (on the same house) for an additional £5 per person. Please remember to book additional workers.

You’ll be introduced to the basics of sourdough baking and learn how to make a sourdough starter – and keep it alive. We’ll teach you the techniques we use in the bakery to knead and shape our loaves, and you will then make four different types of bread over the course of the day
