Viva Gymnastics Club was set up in 2018 to provide gymnastics sessions to children in the Portsmouth area, including those with a variety of disabilities and additional needs who have often found themselves excluded from the sport of gymnastics
In 2020, our Club faced the many challenges of the COVID pandemic and continued to provide gymnastics activities to children via Zoom and, when allowed, via outdoor sessions near Southsea Common. The Club and its members supported each other through this difficult time.
Our Club is now a registered charity and has the objective of ensuring that disabilities and additional needs are not a barrier to participation in gymnastics. In addition to its growing SEND programme, the Club provides fun and advanced gymnastics sessions for children of all ages and abilities.

The format of our classes will be slightly different to keep in line with COVID-19 guidance given to us by the Government, World Health Organisation, Leeds City Council and British Gymnastics.
Kids Gymnastics course is offered by RAW Kids Gymnastics. A fully structured class working towards participating independently from their parents. Developing basic gymnastics movements and skills, rotate on circuit stations around the gym.
Gymnastics for All – the right place to start Gymnastics is a safe, fun and challenging sport that offers movement opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Providing participation across nine different disciplines, gymnastics has something for everyone.
Acrobatic Gymnastics is offered by Woodlands Gymnastics. Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music.
