Industry-Relevant First Aid Qualifications

Whether you are looking to book a group course or you are an individual looking to become a qualified first aider, we can support and guide you along the way.  

The government recommends for individuals who work on their own with customers to hold a valid first aid qualification. Such individuals may include hairdressers, personal trainers, health and beauty specialist, taxi drivers, other public transport service providers, builders, plumbers, electricians, sales and business advisers.

First Aid Course are extremely competitive when it comes to our pricing structure. The HABC Level 2 First Aid at Work Qualification is only £60. In addition to this we offer group bookings discounts, in order to save companies money and time when training 6 or more employees (£50 per person).

First Aid Course strive to ensure all customers receive a hands on learning experience which is fun, interesting and most importantly, educational.

Each course is delivered in just 6 hours by one of our experienced tutors. We have a range of course dates available for both individuals and for groups of up to 20 people. First Aid Course will bring the training to your door step; we travel the country visiting new businesses on a weekly basis.

Course Content

Level 2 First Aid at Work Course Content

Upon the completion of the Level 2 First Aid at Work qualification our learners will be able to carry out the following:

• Describe and explain the key roles and responsibilities of a qualified first aider.

• Assess and deal with minor and major first aid incidences.

• Be able to manage and organise an unresponsive casualty that is breathing Be able to manage and organise an unresponsive casualty that is not breathing normally.

• Be able to manage and organise a casualty with external bleeding.

• Be able to manage and organise a casualty who is in shock.

• Be prepare to give life support by using various life support methods.

Requirements

Level 2 First Aid Course Entry Requirements

First Aid Course’s HABC Level 2 First Aid at Work Course needs no prior qualifications required to sign up to complete. However, learners must have a basic level of English speaking and writing skills. Once completed the level 2 first aid qualification, will last for THREE years although we do recommend a refresher course every year to keep your skills up to date with the new protocols.

Delivery

HABC First Aid at Work Course Assessment

First Aid Course ensures the course assessments and delivery format is unique and importantly stimulates the students to learn and maintain the knowledge. Our PASS rates are currently at 100%.

You are required to complete a basic incident report form, which is discussed and completed on the day of the course. You will be given different scenarios to consider which are relevant to your industry. Then be asked to fill in the form accordingly. Alongside this there is a basic question sheet to complete on several topics which will be taught by the tutors on the day.

Our first aid qualifications are made to feel practical and fun as much as possible, throughout the course the tutor will carry out some informal observations of you demonstrating first aid delivery competency.

Our first aid at work courses are delivered over a single day. In just 6 hours with one of our experienced tutors you can become a fully qualified first aider. We have a range of course dates available, in regions situated all across the UK.
