Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods (HCS) training is offered by OHS Consultants. OHS Consultants are accredited at QCTO and other SETA’s and take pride in our quality of training.

We only make use of subject matter experts to facilitate, do assessments and moderations. All our Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators are trained and registered at relevant authorities.

Content:

• Understand the definition of dangerous goods
• Identify dangerous goods
• To inspect dangerous goods for damage and leakage
• Have an awareness of incompatible dangerous goods
• Be familiar with marking and labelling
• In the event of an emergency involving dangerous goods be aware of the required emergency response procedures
• Transporting of dangerous goods
• To know certain articles in Act 85/93 as well as Regulations for chemical substances
