Our construction health and safety courses aim to enable candidates to use verbal, electronic, and written modes of communication in the workplace and apply mathematical processes to solve every day numerical problems in the mitigation of identified construction workplace hazards and/or risks.
Our courses explain the requirements of current, relevant legislation and accepted theories impacting on Health, Safety and Environmental issues in the construction environment, and how best to recognise, assess, and report health and safety hazards and situations on the relevant construction site.
The Association is an employers’ organisation registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act and exists to represent the interests of members, as well as to provide them with specialist support services to assist them in the successful running of their businesses.
The membership comprises some 660 enterprises involved in the building industry and related activities in the province of KwaZulu Natal. The organisation has been in existence for 122 years and is recognised and respected by a wide range of role players in the building industry and beyond.
The Association provides a range of services to members including training, contractual and legal assistance, occupational health and safety consulting, employee benefits schemes, member discounts and a lot more.
In order to deliver on the mandate of providing benefits to members, the Association is involved in a range of commercial activities which complement the operations of members.
Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal also offers a range of services to the public, including the find-a-builder and find-a-supplier online directories, access to useful information and assistance with dispute resolution.
The Association continually strives for excellence in both the general association activities as well as the products and services offered by the commercial divisions.
Participants to this training skill should be able to handle and store hazardous/dangerous goods in accordance with national and international statutory requirements and standards.
Hazmat Awareness and Operations training is offered by Industrial Fire & Hazard Control. Industrial Fire & Hazard Control utilises Virtual Reality and Simulators as an extensive part of our training regime. The simulators and VR arena allow for continuous repetitive training in a classroom.
Hazardous Chemical Substances training is offered by SafeSkill. SafeSkill (Pty) Ltd. is a SETA & (QCTO) Quality of trades & Occupations fully accredited training Institute. SafeSkill is also registered with the Department of Labour (DOL) and the Department of Higher Education.
Hazmat Awareness training is offered by LO Tantsi Fire Consultants. We are committed to Fire and Rescue training and development at all levels. We have the capacity and the experience to meet our client’s fire, health and safety training requirements.
HAZCHEM Handling training is offered by Ngozidhlamini Training Centre. Our training is not just a bunch of manuals to take home but learners are encouraged and assisted with visual and practical knowledge in every course.
