The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to perform operative or supervisor duties to the standards in-line with the NRSWA Act 1991, in order to safeguard themselves and others.
This two-day course is for both operatives and supervisors who already hold the New Roads and Street Works Card. Anyone carrying out work on the public highways must be reassessed every 5 years.
This course has been designed to provide the employees with a knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements to enable them to follow the procedures for setting out Signing and Guarding of an Excavation or obstruction on the Highway.
This NRSWA course provides delegates with the skills and knowledge to perform Supervisor duties to the standards prescribed by CABWI in-line with the NRSWA Act 1991 to safeguard themselves and others.
To provide the practical skills and safety knowledge necessary for candidates to correctly prepare and safely arrange for Signing, Guarding & Lighting, ensuring safety at road and streetworks.
