A place where everyone is welcome, free to express themselves and to free to live life out loud and proud! I didn’t start dance until my early 20s. I am a bit of an anomaly in the dance community as most professional dancers start when they are very young.
I wanted to create a space specifically for adults based on my own dance and fitness journey. Maybe you have never danced before and you have always wanted to try or maybe you danced when you were young and you just want to experience the joy of movement again.
It can be intimidating to try new things as an adult and stepping outside your comfort zone can be scary.
At Free Spirit we foster an inclusive community where you can feel free to try new things without judgment. It’s good to try new things.

Hip-Hop is a stylized, fast paced form of dance that involves some of today’s most innovative and trendsetting moves set to upbeat music with some different technical aspects. Hip Hop is the style most frequently seen on television and in music videos. Movements are fast and funky!

Hip Hop is a form of high energy street dancing. While hip hop is not a technique based form of dance, it does require learning strong, punctuated, or sharp movements.
Hip Hop Dance is a blend of different styles of movement and Street Dance including everything from old-skool funk, popping & locking, to street jazz, urban dance, and mainstream Hip Hop dance.
Improve your coordination, build confidence and get a great workout with Hip Hop. The class begins with a warm-up, progresses on to skills development, then concludes with a routine that will get you moving on the dance floor with ease by the end of the class.
