You’ll focus on one choreography to one song throughout each class. Typically the song changes, however, the instructor may repeat the song a couple of times. Combos may include popping, locking, gliding, sliding, bouncing, waving, miming and more.
Classes are for All Levels. However, during your first class, it is common to feel lost. As you continue with more classes it’ll get easier to pick up choreography.
Benefits: Upper and lower body and core strength, weight loss, increased flexibility, and toning.
Expect to be really sore. Continue to stretch at home and plan your next workout soon to get over the soreness more quickly.

A two hour class that consists of ballet, tap, jazz, and introduces hip hop. Dancers perform four routines, one in each genre, in our annual recital. At this level, dancers also perform in our finale number at recital.

Hip Hop Crew Team Only - Experienced hip hop dancers that want to progress to a competition team (Ages 12 - 18). *Upon teacher approval. Designed for dancers 12 and up and have had at least two years of dance training.

Civic Dance Arts Beginner Hip Hop 1A is a fun and engaging class designed to introduce your child to the basics of hip hop dance. Students will learn how to warm up, stretch and do strengthening exercises to music and learn basic hip hop steps and combinations to music.
