This home barista course will help you get the most out of your espresso machine and get you making drinks like a pro.
Perfect for the home enthusiast who wants to go further. For 2 hours you will learn about why great coffee isn't the result of chance. You will learn about extraction, latte art, general maintenance, and best practices. Each participant will leave heavily caffeinated and a strong urge to become a full-time barista.
Each attendee will take home a bag of our Black Cat Espresso.

Our training lab is a certified SCA Campus and exceeds the standards set by the Specialty Coffee Association. This certification — which extends from our instructors' credentials to the temperature and pH of the water — allows SDCTI to provide high-level training and certifications.
You'll learn all about the espresso equipment, the beginner's espresso technique, how to steam milk, and the first steps for pouring latte art.
