Course Details

Hotel Reception, a DVS program, helps students acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and perceptions required to establish professional relationships with clients in the hotel industry.

The program focuses on relationships via the telephone and in person. Students learn how to sell hotel products and services, take reservations and perform accounting and night-audit tasks.

They are taught to use specialized hotel-management software and to perform reception-related operations in both a non-computerized and computerized hotel environment.

Hotel Reception prepares the students for careers in the hotel industry. The skills acquired enable them to perform the tasks of a bilingual hotel receptionist.
