The course is structured to start with absolute beginner skills and each week we build on the skills of the previous week. In Term 2 we cover beginner skills with basic stitches and work into intermediate skills such as reading patterns.

The course is structured to start with absolute beginner skills and each week we build on the skills of the previous week. In Term 2 we cover beginner skills with basic stitches and work into intermediate skills such as reading patterns. Advanced skills will be on offer in Term 3 based on student demand.
Class cost includes all materials for each session and easy to follow notes so you can continue to practice your new skills at home.
Our Adult crochet class is designed so you make samples in class with provided yarns and then you can apply these skills to a project of your choosing which you can bring to class for help and advice throughout the term. You will finish the program with a folder of samples, instructions and patterns to support you on your crochet journey.
Based in Abury, the studio provides an environment where you can feel at ease, inspired and able to learn from an experienced and very patient tutor. It is an escape from our busy lives and a place where you can grab a coffee and start creating.
The studio has two learning rooms; The Sewing Room and The Sun Room. It also has a lovely kitchen area where you can access bottomless cups of tea and coffee, snacks and of course some healthy food as well.
Beginning with a Basic Sewing Class, which is structured to give you the necessary knowledge  you require  to get you started on any of the sewing projects you have in mind, while mastering your skills on a sewing machine and overlocker.

Our introduction to hand knitting will include topics such as wools & yarns, needles, patterns, gadgets and techniques etc. You will begin by simply learning how to cast on and then learn the basic stitches used by all knitters around the world.
Learn the tips and tricks of Hand Piecing. Learn how to calculate rotary cutting block pieces from drawn to scale blocks. Join us on the slow train in our Hand Piecing Classes.  This wonderful technique might be slower than a sewing machine however its portability makes up for the lack of speed.
