A hands-on, ‘learning by doing’ course provide you with an appreciation of the skills needed to develop your photography. This course is aimed at novice photographers wanting to get the best from a DSLR camera. Mobile phone cameras could be used, but don’t generally allow much creative control, so only parts of the course will be relevant.
Dedicated to photography, f4 exhibits and sells affordable, high quality images. The vision of founders Andrew and Kate Jones, it reflects Andrew’s passion for landscape. His images of Bristol and the mountains of the French Alps are available in a wide range of sizes and framing options.
Also on display is photography from other local professionals and enthusiasts. Andrew says “the internet is not a great place to see and buy photography, viewers need to be sure of the quality. f4 allows people to stand back and engage fully with an image.”
This course is structured around four Units of which 3 are mandatory and two are external over a two year study programme. These units present an opportunity for the learner to explore traditional and contemporary photographic materials, techniques and processes.
