Audit findings lead to great improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. Auditors need to learn how to schedule and prepare for audits and how to communicate with the department being audited so they are able to have a well organized and effective audit.
There are also important requirements that auditors must be aware of such as the requirement to follow up on previous audit findings. Participants are expertly guided through internal audits that are required for a management system based on ISO 22000.
