Terra Languages has been teaching Spanish throughout the Toowoomba community for over 10 years, and now to anyone via online classes. Our native speaking teachers, using our unique curriculum create a fun and engaging environment from your very first lesson. We currently offer Spanish and Italian for all age groups, and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes.
Since our founding, Terra Languages has had the opportunity to help countless students acquire foundational language skills and confidently move forward in their learning journey. We have great course programmes which follow sturdy learning sequences enabled by the use of reliable textbooks and curriculums.
Terra Languages follows the Common European Reference for (CERF) which organises language proficiency into six levels; A1 - C2. At the end of any of these levels students can choose to sit an official Language Proficiency exam and leave with an internationally recognised proficiency rating.
Italian for beginners includes the study of the 4 main aspects of the language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
In standards and content, courses are comparable to those offered in day school language classes, and follow a standard course design. Our face to face classes for students in Prep-12 are held out of school hours in metropolitan and country/regional Centres of the VSL.
This course is an introduction to Italian for any student wishing to learn the language for business, travel or everyday use with no prior knowledge of Italian required.
Buongiorno Italia! Immerse yourself into the Italian culture! Students will participate in role play, activities and basic conversation. Some short educational videos about Italy may be used. The teacher is a native Italian tutor.
