Students will work towards various turn, leap and pirouette combinations, with a focus on stretch and strength components. These classes utilise the Australian Teachers of Dancing jazz Syllabi and are a very exciting lesson to be involved in.
Students experience a combination of Commercial, Broadway and Music Theatre Jazz styles.

The Jazz syllabus we offer is from the C.S.T.D (Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance). The C.S.T.D. is a highly regarded International Dance society proudly serving Dance for over 80 years providing exams in all major dance disciplines from Tiny’s through to Teacher Qualifications.
Jazz is a performance dance technique thatincorporates many styles of movement. Students can work towards completing ‘Jazz Moves’ examinations with ATOD.
Jazz is a fun, energetic class that combines technique with the latest moves. Students will learn how to safely turn and jump and will develop further coordination, flexibility and expressive skills while improving their fitness levels.
Jazz incorporates many technical elements of dance including kicks, turn, turns, leaps and flexibility danced to funky, upbeat music and choreography.
