South Manchester Dance School established over 70 years ago, the school was brought to its current address over 30 years ago.
Our school is affiliated with both the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and our teachers are also qualified with both.
South Manchester Dance School has trained generations of dancers.
We care deeply about your experience at South Manchester Dance School. We do our best to ensure that pupils are happy and their personal journey is carefully considered. Pupils are trained to take examinations in a choice of three genres; ballet, tap and modern.

Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance. Jazz has its own vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with musical rhythm.
