DurationIndependent Dance Educational Syllabus (IDES) is an Auckland Academy of Dance initiative developed with New Zealand and International independent dance teachers.
IDES has been developed to meet the needs as reflected in the modern world of Jazz Dance.
IDES brings the latest in Choreography and Dance Techniques and will cover Jazz levels from Pre Primary jazz to Advanced levels.

Training by Industry Professionals in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz & hip hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Singing, Acting & Stage Fighting.
The Dance Institute offers all RAD Ballet grades from Pre-Primary to Advanced, all NZAMD Jazz and Contemporary Levels and all SADTA Modern dance Levels as well as specialised Stretch and Strengthen classes.
This class focuses on technique, fitness and performance routines. A good level of dance is required! The Senior Jazz Class will be also used to perform at regular events around the city!
Students learn a wide range of steps and combinations and get to learn many different styles of jazz.
Our classes follow the NZAMD syllabus which is fun and exciting - choreographed by USA's Keith Clifton.
American Jazz Dance Affiliation syllabus (1 x 3/4 or 1 hour class/week) Jazz encourages confidence, as well as being a fun alternative dance style with solid technical foundations.
