The emphasis in jazz is on strength and flexibility developed through technically challenging movements such as kicks, leaps and turns.
Jazz dancing encompasses many forms of dance and music such as Rock, Blues, Hip-Hop, African, Modern, Musical Theatre, and Pop. Jazz dancing is a very high energy, fun, and expressively influenced form of dance.

A class designed for students with limited motor skill development, high functioning autism, down syndrome, Aspergers, coordination difficulties, or limited range of motion. Dancers will learn patterning, rhythm exercises and coordination, while working at their own pace
A quick tempo style of dance that enhances flexibility and coordination. Perfect your leaps, kicks and turns to the beat of today's music.
The class has a way of bringing children out of their shell. They make friends with people just like them; it gives them confidence that is hard to find anywhere else.
ADAPT students are able enjoy quality technical training, supporting good competitive values along with enhancing stronger performance abilities.
Dancers will learn terminology and various forms of movement including turns, jumps, splits, etc. Jazz classes mix the element of energy with the challenge of a variety of movements. Classes run all dance year for 45 minutes a week, with a year-end recital routine.
