Jazz is a lively and expressive dance form that combines contemporary moves with classic ballet technique.
This athletic and high energy form of dance emphasizes form and expression. Students may explore everything from the more traditional genre-defining steps to the fluid movements of lyrical jazz. Younger students can get a taste of this style in our Mix'n'Match classes.
Our jazz classes provide our dancers with fun, upbeat, age appropriate music to express themselves emphasizing proper technique, terminology, and history. Students are well-prepared in the genre following the ADAPT Jazz Syllabus designed by Mr. Brian Foley.
All genders and levels welcome. Jazz Funk is a hybrid of hip hop and jazz techniques.
