Jazz is an exciting and ever evolving dance form. Jazz has become one of the most popular dance styles in recent years. This is mainly due to its popularity in television shows, movies, music videos and commercials.
Our energetic Jazz classes consist of unique moves, leaps, turns and kicks. We encourage individual style and expression whilst focusing on developing technique, and movement quality with an emphasis on style, rhythm and proper execution of body isolation, line and progressions.
We offer examinations through the Asia Pacific Dance Association, JazzAddict Australasia Syllabi. Although examinations are not compulsory we encourage all students to undertake examinations as it gives students a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction in knowing they are improving each year.
Students are presented with a certificate of accreditation for all their effort.

Each week offers a different dance style from Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Commercial and Musical Theatre.
The body explores the potential to move every which way it can to popular music and funky beats. Jazz works flexibility and strength, dynamics and communication skills and allow the children to have incredible fun as they keep fit.
Jeté! Exploring Dance recognises that each child is an individual requiring individual physical and psychological attention and aims to make learning become easy, rewarding and a great joy.
Jazz Dance Lessons are offered by Dance & Art Centre for Kids of all abilities. Dance, the movement of the body in a rhythmic way for the purpose of releasing energy, expressing an idea or emotion or simply taking enchantment in the movement itself.
An ideal class for those wanting a challenge, a great workout, improve their commercial dance style, and are looking to bring some sass and swagger into their dance repertoire.
