We believe dance is a way of life and promotes a discipline which carries over to all aspects of life.

We have two amazing Studios at our Riverlea venue.

At Directions, we encourage our students to enjoy all aspects of dance, both in class and while performing on stage.

We provide a positive environment for students to grow and develop in order to reach their full potential.

Classes include Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Pre-school, Seniors 60+.

Following exams, the school switches to ‘show mode’. Our annual dance show is held each December at Clarence St Theatre, and includes all students, from pre-school through to advanced.
There is a different theme for each show, with students allocated a character and music to fit. Our tutors work with the students to choreograph and fine-tune their dances so they are ready for the stage.
 
All practice takes place during class, so no extra time is required in the week leading up to the show. We have one dress rehearsal on the Saturday before the show date at the theatre.
 
All costumes are provided for students, with a small contribution to the show fund being included in Term 3 fees.
