Jazz dance can take on many different characteristics and styles, including Street Jazz, Percussive, Broadway, Contemporary and Lyrical. Jazz classes can be patterned in any of these styles or a combination of them. Emphasis is on the importance of energy, rhythmical accuracy, and style.
Covid-19 has changed how we travel to dance but it hasnt stopped us from dancing. Our current season is coming to an end but we still worked hard and even came home with some wins. Congratulations to Xplosive Legacy Dance Company on their success this competition season.

Students will learn the defining movement concepts of jazz dance including isolations of the body, grounded musicality, improving performance quality and developing a capacity for complex rhythms and movement patterns
Jazz dance classes are offered by The Studio for all ages and skill level. At The Studio, we provide options for all levels of interest and ability by offering classes at varying levels of difficulty, ranging from beginner to advanced.
