The opportunity to learn new steps and show your talent
The opportunity to learn new steps and show your talent.
Located in the very heart of the Quebec City region, Studio AccorDanse was born from an idea, a collective desire, a dream shared by a group of parents whose children practice dance.
Believing in the real potential of young people in this field, this group of parents united and created a non-profit organization serving the community, while responding to a real need in the dance community in Quebec, c ie a school with family values.
The course structure at Studio AccorDanse aims to ensure the technical and artistic development of the dancers. They have the opportunity to improve their skills by participating, among other things, in workshops and conventions given by emeritus dancers, such as those on the program '' So You Think You Can Dance Canada ''.
At the AccorDanse studio, the dancers receive quality education, through which they learn to surpass themselves through a complete and rigorous training based on classical dance, in addition to their regular dance lessons involving different styles (jazz, lyrical , contemporary, hip-hop).
A place where students and teachers evolve in mutual respect and mutual aid in order to share their passion for dance!
We aim to ensure that the passage of each child among us is a constructive and positive experience that is part of their personal development.
Pleasure, evolution and passion
This is the motto of Studio AccorDanse!
The class will begin with a global warming of the body to connect to physical sensations and free the mind.Â
Contemporary is an innovative dance language that draws from many other dance forms and explores the full range of body movement to create a highly expressive and boldly physical style.
Contemporary Dance course is offered by Dance Studio East. It is our mission to provide our students with quality instruction so they can attain a level of professionalism without leaving the province.
Our staff teach a blend of various modern styles based on their personal background, drawing from the Canadian Dance Teacher’s Association syllabus, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, Limon, Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Freestyle, Contemporary and Lyrical.
Both lyrical & Contemporary are a fusion of ballet & jazz technique. Dancers use fluid, continuous & graceful motion to express feelings conveyed through the story & emotion of a piece of music.
