Rising Stars Academy was established in 2015 and is owned and led by Miss Emma Bateman who is a fully qualified dance, zumba, and children's yoga teacher. Emma started dancing at 18 months and has continued throughout her life to complete exams in all subjects and has also performed in many of her dance schools shows.
Miss Emma ran a dance society alongside her studies at university, and decided that she wanted to pursue a career in teaching dance to the upcoming generations! As well as inspiring the younger generations, Miss Emma continues with her own professional development by taking professional teaching examinations in the hope to become an examiner one day.
Our school offers a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where children and young adults can develop and expand their knowledge in their chosen area of dance and theatre at their own pace.
Jazz classes don’t follow a syllabus, instead featuring a wide variety of modern choreographic styles.
Modern Jazz is the ‘icing on the cake subject’ and all our youngsters look forward to joining these classes as soon as they can. Classes are lively, noisy, energetic and full of fun, everyone wants to do them!
Jazz dance classes are offered by SR Dance Academy. We provide dance classes to children and adults. We offer a safe haven for students to meet new friends, express themselves through dance and overall build self esteem.
Jam Dance’s aim is to teach and inspire their students to develop their technical knowledge and ability as well as instilling confidence and passion for dance and performance.
The teacher adapts the routines to suit individuals so this class is suitable for all levels (except professional level).
