This 30 credit hour (10 courses) certificate offered by the Faculty of Arts will introduce students to the study of Law, and its impact on Society. Students will have the opportunity to explore a range of disciplinary perspectives and approaches to studying the law.

Focuses on the essentials of business law in Canada, from the methods of carrying on a business, to hiring and firing, to the ways in which tort and contract law can impact businesses.
You will study forms of business organizations, with specific concentration on non-offering Ontario and federal corporations.
Learn how to correctly manage and control the end-to-end project procurement framework and contract life cycle, as well as effective strategies to successfully handle suppliers and vendors.
The substantive course is combined with instruction in legal writing and evaluation is primarily based on written assignments.
