Dickie's Cooking School has in-person, virtual, and on-demand classes for kids and adults. We're a fun, open place to learn how to experiment, improvise, and cook delicious food using a wide range of techniques.
Dickie’s Cooking School has one goal: to get you to love your own cooking. Our classes are small and designed to give you individual attention and focus.
You'll get all of the recipes, instructions and shopping list before the lesson so you have time to plan and shop. If a recipe requires a bit of prep before hand, you'll be given lots of detailed instruction. In addition to a complete recipe book, you'll also be given resources and video links.
Join us for an evening of vegan cheesemaking at Santropol Roulant! This is the perfect workshop to start learning the basics of homemade plant-based cheeses.
Will learn how to make Authentic homemade butter and French traditional Boursin cheese. In this hands on workshop the students will measure ingredients and actively make butter the traditional way and incorporate it in the cheese making process.
It includes: a hands-on cheesemaking session with our cheesemaker ihtreuer, A facility & ageing room tour Refreshments will be provided and participants will receive a selection of Lakeside Farmstead Cheese.
In this class you learn how to make a variety of “fauxmages”, including aged ones, sprinkles, feta-style and our favourite creamy spreads.
This day long experience includes a farm tour, making cheese as well as an introduction to pairing cheese with beverages.
