From knitting to crochet to spinning we offer numerous classes to keep you crafting, or design your own class with a private lesson, we are here to help you learn and expand your skill-set. With 1600 square feet filled with wonderful natural light, we encourage you to spend your afternoon on our comfy couch and chairs, crafting away with old friends and making new ones.
Back by popular demand: learn to knit a basket using giant yarn! In this workshop you'll be working with a big ball of felted wool and huge needles. We’ll be knitting our baskets from pure New Zealand wool yarn that’s hand-felted by women artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Two Session Class with Reena Brooks to learn to knit Continental or English. This is also a good refresher class for people that "used to knit way back in the day". Materials required, not included with class price; Worsted weight yarn and size 8 straight knitting needles.
If you love knitwear, knitting and learning new skills, you'll love this workshop! You'll learn the basics of knitting on a flatbed hobby knitting machine provided by the instructor and will make three or more projects during this six-week workshop.
Our classes are designed to introduce you to the basics of quilting by the quilters teaching the classes. From rotary cutting, pressing and block and quilt assembly!
This class is for students who already know how to cast on, the knit, purl stitch and binding off. We will not be teaching those in this class.
