Because lyrical dancing focuses on the expression of strong emotion, the style concentrates more on individual approach and expressiveness than the precision of the dancer’s movements.
It has a relatively recent history and a genesis based on the coming together of ballet with rock/folk/pop/alternative music and a variety of jazz dance styles and modern dance.
Dance Vibes started in 2012 by founder Claudia Ingoglia. Her love for dancing started at the age of 3 and she has been dancing ever since.

Her passion is developing performance skills along with technical skills and so prepares dancers for multiple experiences: exams, Eisteddfods, stage shows, functions and corporate events. She believes that any dancer with boldness and talent needs to be developed beyond a technical studio experience.

Lyrical dance is a style of dance created from the fusion of ballet with jazz and contemporary dance techniques and is a “cousin” to those styles. Lyrical dancing is normally performed to music with lyrics that inspires movements with strong, expressive emotions.
Routines are based around feeling and emotion and, though technique is crucial, spirit generally tells where the dance will go.
Modern dance was developed in the beginning of the 20th century and this technique based genre is the perfect choice for dancers who require basic technical skills but are intimidated by the formality of the ballet genre.
A lyrical dancer uses movement to express strong emotions, such as love, joy, romantic yearning or anger. Lyrical dancers often perform to music with lyrics. The lyrics of the chosen song serve as inspiration for the dancers' movements and expressions.
