Dancers aged 12 and up will receive a 45 min. class once a week. Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song.

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Class consists of combining Lyrical & Contemporary styles into choreography and creative movement.
Must be enrolled in a Ballet & Jazz class. Class for ages 12-14 will require beige slip-on jazz shoes & class for ages 14 & over require foot undies. (Ask if unsure of placement for 14 year olds by email please). Teacher’s discretion for placement. Age is of September 30th @ the start of the season. Class attends two competitions. Class for ages 12-14 years will run only with sufficient enrollment. (To be determined in August).
Dance Dimensions is Regina’s northwest dance studio offering classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Tiny tot/Combination classes for ages 3-6 years, and more.
Classes are available under the direction of Kara Chernishenko (Member Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) ~Stage Tap & Jazz. With exam classes offered in Tap, Jazz & Ballet (Shayla Brown Member CDTA – Ballet Div.)
This class will focus on the unique stylings of modern contemporary dance. Contemporary could be described as a fusion of Lyrical and Jazz dancing styles, with no limits on creativity of movement.

Contemporary dance classes are offered by Xklusive Dance Productions. We offer regularly scheduled classes to students aged 2-102 from Monday-Sunday
