Makeup Lesson

I first began my makeup career early 2017 after taking a semester off my degree at the University of Waikato to study makeup full time in Auckland. Once I gained my Makeup Artistry qualification, I jumped straight back into uni and launched my business as a Qualified Freelance Make Up Artist, specialising in wedding makeup!

During this period, I also worked as a Make Up Artist for MAC in Hamilton part time which enabled me to really branch out into the Waikato makeup community and further my training extensively. I met so many gorgeous souls during my time at MAC who I am still incredibly close with to this day, clients & coworkers included!

Late 2018, I was given an amazing opportunity to work in the MAC marketing team in their head office in Auckland. I gained so much corporate behind the scenes knowledge here, furthering my growth as an artist & so much more. Following graduation of my Bachelor of Communications degree I took on a full time position back in Hamilton as the Bobbi Brown Studio Manager.

Fast forward to now, I am currently living and working in the bay - Papamoa (lucky me!). I do Marketing & Comms for a local organisation full time and a I am a Freelance Makeup Artist part time. I have established a perfect dynamic that allows me to take on weekday and weekend clients!

I am so passionate about making my clients feel their absolute best while having a fun, easy, creative experience. The extensive range of high quality products in my kit plus many years of experience with all races, ages & genders for all kinds of events allows me to create beautiful, long lasting makeup looks to suit each of my individual clients preferences and ideas.

I am very picky about what I use & put a lot of my makeup revenue back into my business. Some of the main brands I stock in my makeup kit are: MAC, Laura Mercier, Hourglass, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Refy Beauty, Modelrock, Too Faced, Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, MILK Makeup, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Inglot Cosmetics, Mecca Beauty & so much more.

I have an extensive shade and texture range in my kit so I can cater to literally everyone - that's my job!
