You will cover the selection of products to be used, client preparation, contra-indications and contra actions. Massage movements, aftercare advice, filing, buffing, cuticle work, application of polish, basic anatomy and physiology of the nail, nail diseases and disorders.

Certificate III in Nail Technology reflects the role of individuals employed as nail technicians to provide manicure and pedicure services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements.
This is the full qualification for people wishing to work as a qualified nail technician. This course includes the basic and advanced nail enhancement course plus the remaining units of competence to complete a nationally recognised qualification.
This course is delivered via face-to-face teaching, demonstration, and practical application. Students experience a simulated workplace environment, with access to equipment, products and facilities reflecting industry practice.Â
