Our modern program utilizes a variety of movement techniques including, but not limited to; Limon Technique, Laban Movement Analysis, and Bartennieff Fundamentals. The movement principles that dancers will become aware of are: time, space, weight, and flow, and how those relate to all dance technique. Classes consist of floor work, centre work, travelling, improvisation, and composition.
Modern dance and ballet complement each other greatly, and will give dancers the edge they need to excel in dance in Canada.

A class focused on technique at the barre, down the floor, and in the centre with a large emphasis on strengthening feet. Pre-Pointe dancers will be invited to purchase Pointe shoes and dance en pointe at the instructors discretion based on work ethic, attendance, and strength of the dancer.Â
Ballet is the greatest foundation of any dance form. It teaches elements of balance and suspension, discipline and grace, movement dynamics and clarity of lines. It is an integral art form developed to enhance musicality, precision, spatial awareness and overall control of the mind, body and soul.
Our ballet program follows the RAD syllabus and we offer classes for everyone. POINTE - A portion of ballet technique beginning in Grade 5 Ballet, incorporating pointe shoes allowing the dancers to fully extend to the tip of their toes.
