In your music production lessons you’ll be guided through technology that can help take your music to the next level.

The lessons cover concepts from recording, layering, sampling, beat-making to mixing. Our teachers will tailor one-on-one lessons to what you want to learn.

By the end of a term, you can expect to produce at least one track you could put online.

The Bec Taylor School of Music is focused on providing a modern music education and a nurturing music community that goes beyond the typical one-on-one tuition offered by many music schools in Canberra. Our ultimate goal is to provide a springboard for our students to join the Australian music industry as professional and creative performers.

Anthony spent his twenties touring the east coast of Australia and abroad with bands such as Laneous and the Family Yah and Dubmarine. In addition to having 14 years teaching experience, Anthony is an accomplished session recording musician and is credited on more than thirty studio albums along with songs that have received international radio airplay and achieved high rotation on community radio stations and Triple J. Anthony continues to write, perform and record, both as a solo artist and with a number of groups. In 2003 Anthony received a Diploma of music in Jazz Performance from the Jazz Music Institute in Brisbane and furthered his studies at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Anthony strives to provide students with inspiring methods to develop technical proficiency, to realise goals and to discover individual musical expression.
