Musical Theatre is great for building confidence and bringing out a more playful, theatrical side of your dancer. Our Musical Theatre classes begin in December after the students have had 3 months (Sept-Nov) to strengthen their Jazz technique.
At Kristy’s Dance Fusion, we want the memories you create here to be lasting ones. We have the tools to provide each child with proper technique and placement and we feel through direction, encouragement, hard work and lots of fun; each child can achieve their greatest potential.
Our excellent teaching staff will make every effort to creative a warm and friendly atmosphere for the children and for the parents. We often find the parents will create just as many lasting friendships as the children taking class each week. Our instructors take their jobs seriously and continue their training on a regular basis through revision courses and conventions.
Students will learn stylized choreography from a variety of musicals - both new and old. They will rely on what they have learnt in their drama and vocal lessons and combine both with dance to portray the different characters and tell the story.
Students explore the music of Disney becoming their favorite Disney character for a week. Singing, movement, acting, crafts and recreation make this is a great way to explore the world of acting and singing.
Modern Theatre combines a genre of dance elements characterized by poetic movement and free-style expression in disciplines such as Jazz and Ballet. Based on the ISTD syllabus, exam and free-style classes are available.
Learn the basics of each genre at the student’s level in an inclusive and fun environment. These classes are for the beginner to more advanced dancer who likes to work hard and play hard, but on a recreational level.
For dancers aged 8-18, Contemporary dance teaches combinations that incorporate control, balance and flexibility.
