Nail-Care course is a course designed to prepare students to pass the California State Board exam to obtain the manicure license. The nail-care course prepares students to enter the field of manicuring as a nail technician, performing services such as: manicuring, pedicuring, artificial nail applications, brush-ons and tips, nail wraps and repairs. Students will study the theoretical areas of these subjects to be able to make sound judgements when advising clients regarding these services..
Rosemead Beauty School provides students who are at least high school graduates with a high-quality education in the Cosmetology, Nail Care, Skin Care and Massage Therapy courses.
Upon completion, the graduates from the Cosmetology, Nail Care and Skin Care programs will be prepared to pass the California State licensing examination in order to be eligible for entry-level employment in their field of study or related fields. Similarly, the graduates from the Massage II program will be prepared to pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) in order to be eligible for entry-level employment in their field of study or related fields.
