DurationThe nail course of study consist of 250 clock hours covering all phases of manicuring and pedicuring mandated by the New York State of Licensing Bureau.

Modern International Beauty School is licensed by the New York State Education Department’s Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS). We are the beauty school in the New York City offer Natural Hair Styling program in addition to Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail and Waxing programs.
Instruction will cover the art and science of manicuring techniques, nail, design, business skills, and health and safety practices.
To qualify to take the Oregon State Board of Barber and Hairdressers National written exam, that covers the subjects of nail technology, pedicuring, manicuring, and artificial nails.
The Nail Technician program consists of theory and practical training in the arts and sciences of nail technology, including manicures, pedicures, sculptured nails, artificial nails, air brush techniques, paraffin treatments, retailing, equipment care, business management, etc.
Nail Specialist courses offered by American Beauty Institute to train individuals to be professional Nail Technicians.
Manicure and Pedicure course is offered by Cuttin Up Beauty Academy Inc. (C.U.B.A). The curriculum for students enrolled in the Barber program consists of 1500 hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of Barbering.
