The student learns the understanding of the importance of preventing the growth of germs or destroying them entirely when possible, particularly those responsible for infections and communicable diseases.

Students learn how the steps in a client consultation, perform a client consultation and how to record client information on a client card.

Students learn the techniques of re-balancing the nails, how to identify the common problems associated with sculptured nails.

Students are taught the preliminarily steps and procedures for the application of sculptured nails.

In this module the students learns about infections, prevention, transmission, and immunity. They become familiar with sanitation and sterilization in the field of cosmetology.

Here you will learn to understand nail anatomy. You will learn to build and sculpt artificial nails, understand gels and UV lights. We have fun with nail art and airbrush as well. We teach Manicures and Pedicures on another level! Let's go crazy for nails.
The course is designed to prepare the student to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to become a nail care professional and pass the New York State licensing examinations. Passing the exams are the requisite in order to obtain a Manicurist/Pedicurist License.
