The Nail Technician program covers manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, hard gels, gel polish, dip system nails, natural nails and more! While in school, you will be able to practice manicuring and pedicuring on our salon floor on clients from the community.
Many of our Aveda Institutes offer manicurist programs. Each school is unique, but each prepares you for an exciting future in nails with Aveda Institute. Our programs provide nail training with an emphasis on using pure flower and plant essences.
To qualify to take the Oregon State Board of Barber and Hairdressers National written exam, that covers the subjects of nail technology, pedicuring, manicuring, and artificial nails.
The Manicuring Program (MANP) is taught in English. The Manicure program includes study in nail structure, manicuring techniques, as well as artificial nail application and nail tips.
