Course Details

Safety Guys Overhead Crane training is designed to meet or exceed the standards and regulations for crane operation. We partner with Crane Training Canada to provide a program of the highest standard.

By taking this course, workers will gain the knowledge and practical training required to safely operate cranes at your workplace. 

Training  includes a comprehensive theory followed by individual operator testing on-site at your facility.  Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will be provided with wallet sized record of training card. The employer will also be provided with a record of training
 

Requirements

  •  All students must wear CSA approved steel toes-boots and other PPE as required.

Highlights

In addition to Overhead Crane instruction, this course also includes Rigging and Hoisting curriculum.

Topics discussed include risk management, the rigging plan, inspection of hardware and slings, rigging capacities, weights of loads and center of gravity, the rigging triangle, load control and safe operating practices.
