This 12hr course is a requirement of all Childcare Practitioners who require registration by OFSTED, this includes Childminders, Nannies, Nursery Practitioners, Pre School and After School Club Staff. The course is also suitable for Security / Close Protection Officers who may have to deal with Paediatric emergencies.

About Mark
At the age of 10, I joined St. John Ambulance and became hooked on pre-hospital care and teaching. This enthusiasm has never left me. From college, I worked and completed my training in Pre Hospital Care / Operating Department Practice through Thames Valley University and graduated in 1999. Following this, I completed various clinical, training and assessing qualifications. I am also a qualified internal quality assurer (IQA)
In 2023 I was admitted a Fellow of The Association of Higher Education Professionals, 2009 Fellow of The Royal Society for Public Health and in 2008 a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. I am a member of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
I am a registered trainer/assessor with the Society for Education and Training.
April 2000 I formed ABC Medical Services (Reading) Ltd. ABC Medical has been a huge success story for me and we now run regular training courses at our medical training Centre based at Reading University. We also provide on-site training courses and ambulance services to local authorities, public and private sector companies throughout the country.
Now that the company is established and working well I am in a position to offer freelance services.
