Our story began in 2018 in a small studio inside 107 Projects on Redfern St. With only a table and one sewing machine, our first class was published and we didn't look back. Since that first day.
We have expanded and grown the business into a well established studio, fully equipped for all types of creative workshops. Our passion for the arts coupled with bringing people together, brought our vision of launching a creative hub to life.
My classes embrace a modern approach that brings new life to this timeless art form. Talented artists like Sue Spargo and the Australian sensation Wendy Williams have paved the way for a reimagined embroidery experience. You’ll learn how to use contemporary stitches to craft stunning effects
After 16 years as one of Melbourne and Australia's favourite yarn destinations, we moved our store to Port Melbourne from Albert Park. We are located at 350 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, Victoria opposite the old Port Melbourne Town Hall.Â
Come join us for a Sit and Sew session! Bring your latest project or start a new one in a friendly and relaxed environment. Sew with other keen crafters and enjoy our beautiful creative space.Â
Do you need some dedicated sewing time? A regular Sit & Sew session is an opportunity to sew alongside like-minded sewers whilst enjoying a chat along with a cuppa or two.
Learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine whilst making a cushion cover. Join us at our creative studio in Redfern for our best-selling Introduction To Sewing Workshop.
