Learn how to replicate your clothes in this pattern making class for beginners.

The initial three hours will go towards making a pattern, so if you are only interested in the pattern-making part of this class, we recommend booking one session, 3 hours.

For those who would like to advance to the sewing stages of their pattern, you may want to consider booking multiple sessions from the booking calendar for a discounted rate.

This class is suitable for beginners who have no previous pattern drafting or sewing experience.

In the booking calendar, you'll have three options:

 1x 3hr Session
For Pattern Making only, or for those who want to pay as they go

 4x 3hr Sessions (12 hrs total)
For those wanting to progress into sewing the garment after creating the pattern.
If you select this one, please book your first session via the booking calendar and we'll book the remaining three at the shop.

 7x 3hr Sessions (21 hrs total)
For those with more complex garments or multiple garments
If you select this one, please book your first session via the booking calendar and we'll book the remaining six at the shop.

Previous sewing experience and knowledge of commercial patterns is recommended before starting your pattern making journey, this will give you a head-start when you begin the pattern making process, as you'll have some understanding of what a pattern actually is, before making your own.

If you have no sewing/pattern experience, we recommend coming to our Sewing For Beginners class first, followed by at least one of our Intro To Garment Making classes to make shorts or a wrap.

Depending on the garment you bring, you may require further sessions to complete the pattern/sewing.
