DurationIn Photo II Intermediate Practice students with a foundational understanding of digital photography basics will continue to expand their knowledge through this course. They will strengthen their ability to utilize digital editing software and practice editing tools and techniques, including masking and retouching.
With an emphasis on issues within contemporary photography and image-based media, students will be introduced to the visual language of photography and intention building behind making an image. This groundwork will help students as they learn how to develop a photographic series as a way of storytelling which will also include a brief introduction to artist statement writing.
