We prepare students mainly for AMEB and ABRSM examinations. We build student's musical foundation and pianistic skills to be able to participate in examinations and in developing their sight reading and aural abilities.
Students might wish to go for auditions for school band, for scholarship entry or school music group and we also prepare students to be able to perform in their nest abilities to participatein auditions.
Students are encouraged to participate in annual concerts in the studio and to participate in MSV concerts when possible.

Piano lessons are held on a one-on-one basis. Students are encouraged to read and listen to music using various techniques including the solfege system, and most of all, by appreciating the fine tones, rhythms and nuances of music.
The classes are designed for students wishing to gain a thorough understanding of Basic Keyboard harmony, Chords, intervals, Meter and Rhythm and Pitches.
