Welcome to Farmhouse Academy! We are excited to offer culinary classes and private events to the village of Mokena and surrounding communities.
All classes have specific age guidelines that are meant to be suggestions only. Parents are encouraged to use their own discretion with regards to placing their child in a class they would feel most comfortable in.
Ooh-la-la! Practice safety skills and blending while learning about choosing and using fresh produce and dairy products. Older chefs (ages 10 and up) can make a crepe using an authentic crepe pan, while younger kids can enjoy making crepes with no-heat fillings Suggested for ages 7+.
Learn to make versatile pate au choux, the dough used for cream puffs and eclairs. Students will learn to shape, bake, fill, and glaze delicious pastries.
Join our After-School Baking Series and whip up some delicious desserts! Each week, the students will learn and bake a new collection of weekly dishes before they’ll all sit down together and enjoy their prepared sweets.
Not only do we sell the baking and decorating supplies you need to create an edible piece of art, but we also have a variety of classes to teach you new techniques.
Fresh-Milled Sourdough class is offered by The King's Roost. We also offer private and mobile classes for in-home teaching or corporate events and team building.
