The Academy offers a weekly group class, with the option of enrolling in private one-on-one training sessions using Pilates equipment such as a reformer and exercise balls.
Pilates and experiential anatomy classes are taught with a basis in yoga and cranial sacral therapy with the primary goal being to develop dancer’s self-awareness and teaching injury prevention techniques.

The Richmond Academy is a member of the BC Dance Educator’s Association, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, West Coast Tap Dance Collective, BC Alliance for Arts and Culture, Richmond Arts Council, Canadian Dance Assembly, BC Artist Registry, Candance.org and has teachers who have obtained Registered Teacher Status with various international organizations including the Royal Academy of Dance.
