Students are required to wear a body suit, pink, white or beige tights and pink pointe shoes with their hair in a bun or pony tail out of their face. Ballet tuts's, skirts, and spandex shorts are also welcome but not required.

Students will be introduced to the importance of correct posture, artistry and presentation of their work as they progress through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus (ISTD). Students are placed in classes based on their age and level of experience.
Pointe classes are available by selection only. Students must be 11 years of age and have extensive training in the ballet program prior to beginning Pointe. All participants will be at the discretion of the Ballet Director.
For more experienced dancers it's a chance to work on improving your technique, strength and flexibility.
En pointe means "on the tip" and is a part of classical ballet technique. Pointe developed from the desire for dancers to appear weightless and has evolved to enable dancers to dance on the tips of their toes for extended periods of time.
